The VFS SoCal Chapter is proud to support the Vertical Flight Society Student Chapter at the University of California Irvine. Their goal is to “foster an interest in vertical flight technology and promote opportunities for students to learn about and engage with this exciting field.” They conduct regular meetings, host events, and provide opportunities for students to network with local and international professionals in the vertical flight community. VFS student chapters provide students with an introduction to the Vertical Flight Society, opportunities to network with professionals, and a gateway to participate in the organization. Moreover, VFS offers student chapters information on career and internship opportunities, scholarships, chapter presentations, and student-led competitions, which can enrich students’ experiences.
